Drover Sculpture for Sale

Impressive Drover sculptures for sale

-Charity donation for Qld’s regional youth-

Australian sculptor Ian Haggerty sculpted ‘Early Rains’ to raise awareness and funds for Stock Up For Hope. ‘Early Rains’ is a substantial bronze casting that depicts a young Drover on horseback wading through a treacherous swollen river and assisting a distressed cow to safety.

The image of the drover rescuing a cow also depicts one of the roles of school chaplains in offering a rescuing hand to children and young people facing challenges like bullying, loneliness, abuse and addictions. With so many youth facing daunting challenges, over 500 SU QLD school chaplains offer friendship, guidance and mentoring.

The ‘Early Rains’ sculpture weighs 23 kilos and is limited to an edition of 25 worldwide.  The remaining 24 are available for $6,500 each with a certificate of authenticity from the foundry. Each one sold will provide a donation to support young people through SU QLD school chaplaincy.
